Proactividad y capital psicológico: una revisión integradora de la producción científica

La proactividad y los componentes del Capital Psicológico (PsyCap) son conceptos emergentes, definidos como capacidades psicológicas positivas, que impactan en la competitividad y el desempeño, y contribuyen a la construcción de organizaciones más saludables. Dado el gran interés sobre el tema, este estudio tuvo como objetivo revisar la literatura en busca de posibles relaciones entre Proactividad y PsyCap, para señalar asociaciones, diferencias y efectos negativos resultantes de altos niveles de PsyCap y Proactividad en los individuos. Esta revisión abarcó un período de 20 años, que requirió el análisis de 208 artículos y la selección de 26 documentos para el estudio. Los resultados mostraron relaciones entre la Proactividad y los componentes de PsyCap (Autoeficacia, Esperanza, Resiliencia y Optimismo), ya que ambos están alineados con la positividad, el desempeño, la persistencia y las incertidumbres ambientales. También se relacionaron indirectamente a través de otros constructos como la retroalimentación, el compromiso, la adaptabilidad, la felicidad y el liderazgo. Además de las congruencias, se observaron diferencias importantes entre los conceptos. Los lineamientos proactivos se relacionan con estrategias, autorregulación e involucran el rol activo del ser humano con intencionalidad, mientras que los componentes del Capital Psicológico aparecen más asociados a aspectos circunstanciales. También se observaron algunos puntos negativos, como conflictos entre personas consideradas proactivas y violencia asociada a la autoeficacia.
