¿Componentes principales o factores comunes?: Comentarios al artículo de Hederich-Martínez y Caballero-Domínguez (2016)

Recientemente se publicó en la revista un artículo de Hederich-Martínez y Caballero-Domínguez (2016), acerca de la validación de un cuestionario de Burnout en una muestra de 820 estudiantes de medicina, psicología, fisioterapia y enfermería de tres universidades privadas de la ciudad de Barranquilla, Colombia. En el artículo en mención, se utiliza como método de extracción Componentes Principales (CP) y no un método de Factores Comunes (FC). La presente carta tiene como objetivo exponer las desventajas del método de CP en validación de cuestionarios autoinformados.
