PERFIL DO DESENVOLVIMENTO NEUROPSICOMOTOR E ASPECTOS FAMILIARES DE CRIANÇAS INSTITUCIONALIZADAS NA CIDADE DO RECIFE (Neuropsychomotor develompent profile and family aspects of institutionalized children living in Recife)
Abstract
O presente estudo teve por objetivo caracterizar o perfil do desenvolvimento neuropsicomotor e identificar a constituição familiar de crianças de 0 a 4 anos, institucionalizadas, na cidade do Recife. O instrumento utilizado foi o Teste de triagem de Denver II. Foi avaliado o desenvolvimento nas áreas pessoal-social, motricidade fina, linguagem e motricidade ampla. Posteriormente, realizou-se uma análise documental dos dados pessoais das crianças. Os resultados revelam que a maioria das crianças era advinda de famílias com história de dependência química e com configuração monoparental. Em ambas unidades estudadas, as crianças apresentaram atrasos em mais de uma das áreas examinadas. No entanto, chama a atenção o maior comprometimento na área de linguagem e o menor na área de motricidade ampla. Por fim, os resultados deste estudo servirão para nortear a atuação dos profissionais da saúde, nestas instituições, visando a promoção de um desenvolvimento infantil mais saudável.

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to characterize the neurosychomotor development, and indentify the family configuration of institutionalized children aged between 0 and 4 years, in Recife. 22 children living in child protection units participated in the study. The Denver II test was used to collect data, in order to assess personal and social skills, as well as language and fine and gross motor. Consequently, a documental analysis with personal data from children was made. The results showed that most of the children belonged to single-parent families, with a history of chemical dependency. In both analyzed units, children presented higher levels of language disorders than in the gross motor area. The findings will be useful to head intervention strategies to promote appropriately healthier child development.

Resumen
El presente estudio tiene por objetivo caracterizar el desarrollo neuro-psicomotor e identificar la constitución familiar de niños protegidos en instituciones con edad de 0 a los 4 años, en la ciudad de Recife. Son participantes del estudio 22 niños que viven en dos Unidades de Protección. Fue utilizado para la recogida de los datos el Test de triar de Denver II, evaluando el desarrollo en las áreas personal-social, motricidad ligera, lenguaje y motricidad amplia, por edad. Enseguida fue hecho un análisis documental de los datos personales de los niños. Los resultados revelan por general, que munchos de esos niños son de familias con historia de dependencia química y con configuración familiar monoparental. En las dos unidades estudiadas los niños presentaron más comprometimiento en el área de lenguaje e menor en el área de motricidad amplia. Por fin, los datos encontrados servirán para direccionar las estrategias de intervención, con el fin de promover adecuadamente un desarrollo infantil más saludable.
