CARACTERIZACIÓN PSICOLÓGICA DE MENORES CONDENADOS POR HOMICIDIO DOLOSO EN MEDELLÍN Y EL VALLE DEL ABURRÁ DURANTE 2003 – 2007. (Psychological characterization of minors age convicted for intentional homicide in Medellín and Valle de Aburrá during 2003 -
Abstract
Con el fin de identificar las características sociodemográficas, físicas, familiares y psicológicas de 16 menores condenados por homicidio doloso en la ciudad de Medellín y el Valle del Aburrá durante el periodo comprendido entre el 2003 y 2007, se llevó a cabo un estudio descriptivo, basado en el análisis de sus respectivos expedientes. La información se recopiló mediante el instrumento denominado Perfil criminológico del delincuente homicida adaptado a adolescentes infractores en el contexto colombiano (Morales, 2004). De acuerdo con los resultados, los jóvenes condenados por homicidio tenían una edad promedio de 17 años, raza predominante mestiza, en mayor proporción no presentaban señales particulares que los distinga, solteros, sin hijos, no habían culminado sus estudios secundarios, realizaban trabajos informales o se encontraban desempleados en el momento de los hechos y pertenecían a una familia nuclear completa. Con respecto a sus características psicológicas, presentaron en una proporción mayor rasgos disociales y consumo principalmente de alcohol, cigarrillo y marihuana.

ABSTRACT
With this investigation research one tries to identify the psychological characteristics of 16 processes of teenagers condemned for homicide in the city of Medellin and the valley of Aburrá during the time period of 2003-2007; for it there carried out a non-experimental, quantitative, empirical - analytical study, in which the instrument Profile criminology of the homicidal delinquent adapted to inobservant teenagers in the Colombian context was in use. (Morales, 2004, cited by Bohórquez, 2006). The results of the analysis of 16 processes, showed that the average age to commit homicides is 17 years of age, half-caste race, without particular signs that distinguished them, bachelors and without children, undergraduate and realize informal jobs or are unemployed, with high predominance in the consumption of alcohol, cigarettes and marijuana.
