The concept of influencer marketing refers to "a type of strategy carried out by brands that consists of using influential people in a topic or sector to transmit a message and increase reach" (Hernández, 2017). This is where the influencer becomes a prescriber, that is, the individual who can convince a large number of people to buy a certain commercial product. In the online medium, a positive or negative reference from the influencer can affect a potential buyer, and if we add to this a recommendation from a person with notable recognition, it is a means of success in the market. According to Fundeu BBVA (2017), influencer is used to "refer to people with knowledge, prestige and presence in certain areas in which their opinions can influence the behavior of many other people". This influencer undoubtedly generates an advertising impact through social networks, becoming an opinion leader in the market.
It would be thought that an influencer is a guide to good practice, however, reality reveals that the absence of legal control in the use of digital marketing strategies, and in the generation of advertising, affects the consumer's decision; since there are no ethical principles and regulated practices of the mechanisms used to "convince".
