Bare life and state of exception in Agamben as categories of analysis for the colombian conflict

The present article intends to reflect, from the concepts of bare life andstate of exception postulated by Giorgio Agamben, on the particularitiesof the Colombian armed conflict. The document is divided into three parts:the first addresses what concerns the bare life understood as a product ofa rationality; the second part deals with analyzing in detail the metaphorof nudity that involves the concept of bare life; and the last part analyzesthe exceptionality as an element of political subjectification. In the courseof the development of the text, in a transversal manner, different positionsand points of view will be articulated that enrich the analysis of a politicalphenomenon such as the armed conflict that Colombia is still living.Downloads
